On the wall strip between the Berlin districts of Rudow and Altglienicke a landscape park has been created which is based on a sophisticated ecological concept. A vast meadow landscape has been created that links the districts of Rudow and Altglienicke.
Although the highway runs 2.5 km through it, the park is perceived as a large, uncut and largely recreational area that is largely shielded from the effects of road traffic.
The guiding principle is a vast meadow landscape that links the districts of Rudow and Altglienicke, which have been separate for decades, and creates a connection to the Brandenburg cultural landscape. Loosely distributed groups of trees stand on the carpet of the extensive meadow landscape. Different types of lead trees and meadow types create a varied landscape. Pastures and orchards let the Brandenburg Feldmark "flow" into the park from the south.
